Throughout the academic year, UMC hosts a variety of events for our members to immerse in their pure passion for climbing together!
KLIMB
Winter Break
KLimb is where members have the opportunity to bring their skills to the great outdoors. KLimb takes place in Kuala Lumpur where members will experience climbing on both plastics and natural rocks. There will be visits to Camp 5, the local climbing gym franchise in Malaysia where members get to see how gyms differ in other countries. However, the highlight of the trip is the trip to Batu Caves where members are exposed to natural rock climbing, showing that climbing goes beyond the plastics found in the gyms.
TRANSEND
Summer Break
NTU UMC is proud to be the organiser of TRANSEND, a local bouldering competition. For the past 3 years, UMC has brought the magic of TRANSEND to the public with fantastic routes that captivate all (audience and participants). Open to all categories, it spans over 4 days with non-stop action and exhilarating thrills to fuel your love for climbing.
