1. Shoe Buying Trip
On this trip, you’ll get to enjoy bulk purchase discounts and package deals only available for schools. Seniors who wish to buy new pairs of shoes are also welcome to join to receive the discounts! The discounts available at each shop will differ (shoes go for as much as 35% off);

2. Singapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS) Level 1 Course
This one day course held in NTU will introduce you to basic climbing proficiency skills such as climbing techniques, equipment knowledge, and belaying/climbing calls for safe top-rope belaying. You'll get certified together with your UMC friends, at a cheaper rate than external providers!
Taking up this course will also allow you to:
1. Participate in our annual year-end climbing trip to KL
2. Belay in climbing gyms

It is a new school year! Come find us @ Booth 142Â during NTU Welcome Week in between LT 5 and LT 6 at North Spine!! Learn more about UMC and what are the events we have coming up!
WELCOME CLIMB & MEMBERSHIP SIGN UP
Try out bouldering, a specific aspect of sport climbing, with our Welcome Climb! It is a fun carnival climb that is beginner-friendly, so you don't have to worry if you are new to the sport!!

For only SGD15 per academic year, UMC members are entitled to many perks and events that are exclusive to our club! FRESHMEN WELCOME CAMP
Calling all Freshmen! Join us at this year's FWC with high wall, bouldering and a movie night. Meet new people who have similar interests in rock climbing! Don't worry if you have no experience, this camp is catered to you as well.
CORE TEAM TRIALS
UMC's Core Team is made up of experienced climbers coming together to train. Being part of the team, members are given the privilege to represent the club at local bouldering competitions as well as receive other club benefits throughout the academic year. This is a place to hone your climbing skills and technique to the next level. If you are interested in joining the Core Team this year, sign up below to express your interest!
